Remember, November

The month is November,
But I'm in December.
You were here too,
Don’t you remember?

We walked in the snow,
The winter traffic slow.
Smiles on our faces,
So why’d you have to go?

All we had intended
Was abruptly ended,
By that car in November.
When your soul was amended.

I look back in November,
And can't help but remember.
These thoughts I had…
Of us (in December).

I figure somebody would make that connection. Which is why i had thought about changing the name.. But too lazy to think up anything else catchy I used the above title.

And for those of you who don't know what he's talking about!

The gunpowder treason and plot

For i know of no reason
Why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

On the 8th of November,
The angels were crying
As they carried his brothers away.
With the fire raining down
And the Hell all around
There were few men left standing that day.
Saw the eagle fly,
Through a clear, blue sky
1965, the 8th of November.
