I require a certain build

I know Kyo was kind enough to go through great pains to make me a well thought-out rifle build, but I'm afraid my aims and goals for my newest character have changed from "just for fun" to "strictly business."

Therefore, I must request a new build from someone around here with a lot of experience.

Here's some important points.



1. It must FIRST max out melee, and have enough critical to use a katana.

2. If the build plans for me to have 50 or higher strength, then add the strength at least up to 50 early on so that I can use a Grinder. Consider adding more critical as well so that I can use it effectively.

3. The most important part. Construct the rest of the build in order for me to be the best I can possibly be at PvP. I don't know what weapon this would require (I assume HMGs) nor do I know what my accuracy and reloading should look like.

4. Also include what armor I should have at certain points. As for guns, I won't even try to buy one until around level 45 or 50, when I go for top PvP. Until then, melee suits me just fine.

5. Build this for a soldier. They start with 30 strength, 35 accuracy, 35 endurance, 35 reloading, 25 critical, and 25 agility. They also start with an extra 10 machinegun skill.

6. Do NOT factor any MC into the build, though I will likely have some, and will edit the build as necessary to account for it. In the distant future I plan to reset once I have full GC equipment, but in the meantime, I can't be bothered (nor afford) to go MC-hunting. Not for those already-overpriced endgame weapons, anyway.

any preferance for agi / end?

From what I hear, agility isn't a necessity, though it has always made my life happier, if for no other reason than I hate crawling through the huge inner city.

Endurance, on the other hand, I hear is extremely important for a PvP'er, and should probably be maxed.

Don't sacrifice anything important for agility, unless I was mistaken and it is indeed necessary.



Pfah. The game is certainly a lot more simple when you're a melee whore like I was. But every melee whore aspires to the Dusk Razor, therefore I must be a gun whore in order to be the best possible melee whore.

crit from the katana / grinder will prob mean your gonna go SMG. you also want / wanted a k50 havnt you? you didnt say so in the post, but if i recall i think you did.

Yes, but are SMGs really preferable for someone going for top PvP?

Still works. Just switch around Agility and Endurance, and you should be fine.

Also. Top Survivor is just as, if not more easily, obtainable. Why? because no one pays attention to it, except for the very few who go for it. But it requires a LOT more dedication than Top PvP.

As for Armor, work with the No Strength Armours, start off with Mesh RX-2 if you have the cash. Work up to Exterminator Mesh. Then work up to Exterminator Mesh GT.

VSS Vintorez and K-50M can work very well for PvP, if you run for it. If you want to add a Grinder into the mix, take points from Agility and a LITTLE points from Accuracy/Reloading.
