PS3 or GAU-19?

What should I get? I only really want the PS3 for two reasons.

1: Complete my Next-gen console collection

2: Killzone 2 and MAG. Maybe MGS4 and a couple other games..

What'll it be, guys? Help me decide!

But seriously, MGS4 and other games are worth getting an entire console specifically for that one game. Also, who knows how long your interest in DF will last, whether you'll be banned or not, big changes come to the game, etc.

Though, GAU means I get mah GAU back and that means you'll find DF very easy in the future. Though it probably won't be all as great in 3D as it is compared to 2D.

The first game I'd get would be Killzone 2, but future games are up for debate.

try warhawk u can get a mic with one of the versions but really do get killzone 2 first might be cheap now so u miight be able to get it pre owned with and other game or two

Online, I play Uncharted 2, I occasionally play Resistance 2 (don't get it! it sucks >.<), Metal Gear Solid 4/Metal Gear Online, LittleBigPlanet occasionally, and that's all I can think of right now >.<

I wanna get MAG, but dun have the money currently.

MAG looks like an orgasm on a disc.

The only turn-off is that all the guns are named differently from what they really are. I don't know why it matters to me, but it does.

PS3. Why? Because Dead Frontier is fucking virtual. That site goes down and pwn vanishes, and you'll never get your money back.

I agree with the option but not the reason. XD

PS3 simply opens up more virtual options. You spend money on something virtual, Runescape. You ain't one to talk. ;)

...$6 a month for a game subscription that I could cancel at any time is not quite the same as dropping $300 on an in-game item.

Plus, I'm paying for the game itself. Not for something in-game. The difference in that is that you can't really lose the game itself unless it goes down. An in-game item could be stolen, lost, ect.

You can't really lose your GAU, unless you lend it out and it doesn't get returned. Which I'm sure Wesker is smart enough not to do, except with the ones he extremely trusts. The only way it'd be a waste is if he got banned, or game went down. Same odds as Runescape.

Man. If I bought a GAU I'd be fucking paranoid of getting hacked. I mean, losers existed back when RS had free trading that would hack into acounts, steal rares, and than sell them for real money. The potential is so much better with DF for that. Because while 1m = about $5 when it was going on with RS, a GAU goes for about $300 if you're going to buy it from the shop. Wouldn't be that hard to steal one and than pose as a player who's quitting the game, and get someone to buy it off you for $200.

Also, no offense to Pwn as I know he's working hard and all. But I doubt that he has all the anti-hack measures that Jaggx went all-out with.

Games I would go with are uncharted, Infamous, MAG, Kingdom hearts 3 when it comes out, god of war if you like the game, plus you can download RE 1, 2 and 3, and then put them on a PSP if you want, or FF 7

Unlike Runescape, Dead Frontier actually does crap when people get hacked. They ban the hacker, return the item if it wasn't your fault you were hacked, etc. Jagex had anti-hack measures, but in exchange they did shitall if you WERE hacked.

I have a GAU, I'm not paranoid at all. Hell, I might not get it returned if it gets jacked when I lend it out all the time (though probably a HUGE chance it would, seeing as it's a GAU), but the person that gets it jacked will definitely be banned.

Dead Frontier is much better to it's players than RuneScape. For sure.

Because it was your fault if you got hacked on RS. If you were dumb enough to visit a stupid RS free gold site and get a keylogger and it ended up getting you hacked, of course Jagex will do nothing about that.

Or if you were like Timmy. He bought gold from a 3rd party website and bought items. He eventually was tricked and had his account stolen and had all his items stolen back. He begged Jagex to give his items back, but Timmy had broken the rules and traded real life money for his items. Timmy was lucky his account wasn't permabanned.

But then Timmy had the nerve to ACTUALLY GO ON NATIONAL NEWS AND COMPLAIN ABOUT JAGEX BECAUSE HE GOT HACKED AND JAGEX DIDN'T RETURN HIS ITEMS THAT HE BOUGHT FROM A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE WITH REAL LIFE MONEY!!!

Where was I going with this? I don't know, but seriously, Timmy's a brat. He's 12, also. He lied about his age when signing up for RS. And yet he's still angry at Jagex.

Make sure to look up videos about Timmy, and make sure to take note of the stupid grandmother. It's funny as all heck.

Actually, I got hacked, when I had never ever gone on one of those sites, had a purdy complex password, and never gave anyone my pass. Came back and dat armour that used to be/possibly still is the best armour that Free Players can get that is light blueish, all jacked. I QQ'd.

I think the main reason Jaggex never returned items was because there was no proof you ever had them.

I think that'd apply with DF too.

This. Any game has a log of processes, even if only for a half an hour or so.

DF puts in the time to scan through it.

RS is big.

DF is small.

Therefore, DF handles hacked accounts better.

Either way, a proper Runescape player doesn't have to worry about hackers. Even if someone discovers their password, the player should have a bank pin, and all of their stuff should be crammed into said bank before every logout. This ensures that a hacker can do you no permanent damage for a minimum of seven days. During this time, you can easily reclaim your account via recovery questions, or email.

But if by some horrid chance the hacker knows your password, pin, recovery questions, and email, then God probably WANTS you to get hacked.

And going against God gets you sent to hell, I'm told.
