| I had the PC version, and I got a mod where you were given a crystal torch. Also, duel wielding with either a sword or a staff. It was a pretty epic mod. | |

I do admit Oblivion was a hell of a fun game however it would have been far superior had they taken the extra time to add in more armor and clothing that could be worn above said armor (I really missed that you couldn't wear capes.) Yeah, basically this. People get upset at Bethesda taking customization and such out of their games. Also, it's pretty much common knowledge that you should ALWAYS buy a bethesda game on the PC. They make good quality games, but there's always something missing/you don't like that you can easily add/remove with a mod.

Wouldnt the armour chaff? Also, I never really got into Fallout 3 or Oblivion. They were both good games, sure, but, to me, it was a little too open, if anyone knows what that means.

| People complained that Fallout 3 didn't have gambling, so they put it in. | |

| yeah. there wasn't enough drug use for my taste either.
I only had the chance to play for a couple hours, and so far it has been a very good game.

| My older brother bought it while I was over at my dad's place. Pretty cool game. It's much truer to Fallout 2 than 3 was. | |

| More true to Fallout series, but also, after having played Fallout 3 for a long-ass time right up until playing New Vegas.. it feels like very much the same game in most aspects.
More like a massive expansion than a new game to be honest.
I don't know which one I'd say is better, though.

| I prefer it over Fallout 3 quite a bit. Hardcore mode is really nifty, and there's a lot of cool atmosphere in it with the colors and the soundtrack. My biggest letdown in 3 was everything being so...brown. =/ | |

I actually haven't tried Hardcore mode, but I'm looking forward to.. I think that'll be the make-it or break-it point for if it was worth the Day-Of-Release Buy.

So... You can hit children in the crotch with sledgehammers? You can whore yourself out? You can give drugs to people in exchange for sexual favors? |

You can give drugs to people in exchange for sexual favors? Well, no to all 3. But you can...gamble again. =D Also, you can never give drugs in exchange for sexual favors in 2, you can only DO drugs while preforming sexual favors on a mob boss' daughter.

| I really can't find myself 'using' the extended creation stuff. Ammo benches is nice, (especially using hardcore mode since the components of ammo don't have weight, but ammo does.) but I just haven't gotten into the whole making supplies concept.
Then again my solution to most problems is to apply sledgehammer (or, alternatively, bumper sword) to nearest fleshy meat thing and take all it's stuff.

| She still uses drugs, and I fuel her habit.
Also, I gave drugs to children in Fallout 3. Like a kid that young would know how to distill shit. |
