I am very, very stingy with money in real life and in a game.

I have 30k in Dead Frontier that I don't even touch. I wouldn't be able to afford a uniform, either. Some of the clothes are expensive.

So true.

Only things that are cheao are horrible clothes, clothes i would never touch...

I do believe that uniforms wouldn't be a bad thing as long as some criteria was met:




The clothes would be partially or completely paid for by the clan itself. Forcing prospective members to purchase clothes might undermine our efforts to attract new recruits.

The clothing would be in a color that is widely acceptable or matching with all other colors. I'm not sure if more than a handful of people would be happy with a yellow jacket, red pants, or some other brightly colored item. Instead, I would highly recommend the uniform to be either gray, white, or black, with a small dash of color if required.

Finally, members would still have the freedom to choose their own armor, to a certain degree. Something along the lines of being allowed to wear anything that is mesh RX-2 or up. We don't necessarily want our members to be under protected by using kevlar vests, flak jackets, or sports armor, so we'd impose a limit on how weak the armor can be. Color would be up for the leader to decide, however, so that would still be an open option.

Oh yeah, and no leather pants, please. I don't want to be a terminator/gay guy/male model/biker. (Not that there's anything wrong with any of that.)

Like, a certain coloured jacket, or certain headwear, or something.. if anything at all.

I also agree. Simplicity would make this matter, well, simpler.

My suggestion = red or black beret. Nice and simple.

You could even separate the divisions this way.

PvP = red (For blood)

Looter = black (For stealth)

red berets are crazy expensive.

Sold the Amp, got a DC. Sold the DC, got three MC grinders, an ext helm, and an ext reactive.

A cloak as a uniform (Red or white especially, would look so fucking badass. Too bad we can't just shit 130,000 plus credits for them. (2,200 per cloak, maybe even 500 credits more to recolor it.)
