I finally bagged me a big red.

Took me long enough, but I finally took on a behemoth. After blowing about 4k rounds last night and not getting him to spawn, I started running south constantly firing. Took only like 6 minutes and once I made it to Albanville, there he was. And I fucked him up.



I got a 1/6/1 Fire Axe for my efforts.

Nice going! What did you loot? Fuck, you only got a fire axe? What a jip D:

It was in the greys. what was I going to expect?

Better items than a starter.

It isn't a starter. It does more damage and scraps for more. x3

It's also a great 5-15 level weapon. only takes 15 skill, and has a very high crit, and the knockback is heaven when trying to get through reds.

I think i'm gonna have to do some testing on it, but i'm pretty sure the knockback from a fire axe beats knockback you can get from any other 15-skill weapon.

But here we are getting off topic. What was everybody else's 1st behemoth kill like? I want stories... Nay, I want epic tales of gallantry and bravery and other stuff! I demand to be entertained!

I have never seen one... i know level 65 and not a single behemoth sighting...

Oh well that'll change today i just got me a stat reset and i have 124 crit for my thompson now and a GC grinder to match it. Oh, the joy these two weapons will brng me.

Can't believe Demon Eyes is beatin' me... I'd so be WAAAAY higher level if I wasn't ban't! D:

Behemoth 1 = Met him about a year and a half ago near the outpost. I was on a newer character, so I was forced to retreat.

Behemoth 2 = Met him him about a year ago in a building near the outpost. Once again, I was on a newer character. He cornered and kill me.

Behemoth 3 = Met him a few months ago in the purple zone. I had just returned from a brutal multiple-hour-long training session in longarm territory. I wasn't used to grinders at the time, so my health and armor had taken a serious beating. Since one hit could have killed me, I retreated.

One of these days, Imma kill that bastard. >.>

I'm saddened...

I've be tracking dow a behemoth for 3 months nows. At one period of time i used 4000 rounds to lure him out and to no avail. It's like he knows if he crosses my path he's ass god as dead.

I've run across maybe 30 GLA's. I jus ran past 10 of em cause the terrai was not to my advantage (i knew i could kill them but not loot them) i kiled 10 without haing a chance to loot and i;ve looted about 10.

Can't wait to meet a behemoth... Ima stare that behemoth right in the eyes then blow a 3 foot cavity in eac of that 16ft mother fucker's sockets. Ima keep WHATEVER comes outta him just as a mometo.

I'd just like to point out, Kyo, that if you were able to blow three foot holes in each eye socket of a behemoth, that would mean that he has at least a six foot diameter head (or else the holes would merge, making one large hole with a smaller diameter than two seperate ones diameters combined) and no one just has two eyes right next to each other on a head, so let's give him another foot of room for the sides of his head, and the bridge of his nose. That's a seven foot diameter head! Sixteen feet tall and a seven foot wide head? What a weirdo.
