Can aren't a hipster band though, they spearheaded the german experimental rock scene in the 70's that would become known as "Krautrock" with bands like Kraftwerk, Faust, and NEU!

Sure, sure, but I guarantee you it's a band that North American hipsters would eat a whole can of.

I don't know what makes less sense; the hipsters themselves, or those so opposed to anything that might have some popularity among hipsters (yes, Can does, but so does Iron Maiden for "ironic" appeal) that they stop themselves from enjoying or even giving a chance anything that has any popularity among hipsters whatsoever because they can't possibly like something a hipster does.

But whatever, to each his own. All I know is I personally cannot give two shits as to whether or not a hipster somewhere likes a band that I do.

I liked the hipster bands before the hipsters did.
