I would like to begin my rant by saying that Brad is not a coward I've heard it all before that people act all tough like they wouldn't have done the same. Come on we all know that when shit hits the fan we would all start runining. Also I'd like to add that if he's such a coward then what coward gets bit shoves the zombie then starts shooting and he didn't leave the forest. He came back he was circling the manison for hours. Why I'm ranting about Brad it's because he's the average guy I like him ok I'm done ranting...for now.

The helicopter pilot who ditched Jill, Barry, Chris, and Wesker in the first Resident Evil, and then was mauled by Nemesis in Resident Evil 3.
To add to your argument, if you played Resident Evil Remake, the group runs in the opposite direction of the helicopter. In order to not be mauled to death by dogs, he took flight.

fight or flight is the main principle. Not knowing who or what Brad Vickers was i can only tell you guys to take this into account.

Fixed.
Compared to the rest of STARS, who all fought and died bravely, Brad definitely comes off as a coward.
Myself though, I can't claim that I'd be any braver if I were in his position. Though I think I might have at least waited for orders before ditching my friends in a hot zone.

I would've for sure taken off had I been in the same situation, but I wouldn't have LEFT. I would've followed, waited for the coast to clear, then gone in to help. Or at least gotten reinforcements. All that time circling was a waste of time. Funny how he spent that time circling, yet never when outside could you hear or see him...
However, I didn't find him a coward in RE3. Sure, he was running from Nemesis. But unless you were a moron (or had a Grenade Launcher or Assault Rifle >.>), you were running as well. He was unlucky.

He kept to his mission. He called over the radio a couple of times.

I just like to say for the record that some of you guys don't get it! Who was going to fly the copper or throw Chris/Jill the Rocket Launcher and you can't pick up people when there inside a manison for a intire game. Oh another thing how do you contact someone with a broken radio!

The problem isn't that he failed to extract them during the game, the problem is that he left them in the beginning. At the very least, he could have hovered above the dog's range, and tossed down a rope ladder. Or he could have used his guns to shoot down the dogs that crowded around the front door of the mansion. And if his copter had neither a rope ladder nor guns, then he deserved the hole in the head he received.
Of course, I'm glad ole chicken heart decided to bail. RE1 is a fun game, and would not exist without his cowardice.

He didn't know their radios were broken. Plus, I don't even see how he could toss weapons. I know pilots. Flying is hard, and if you leave the controls alone for more than a few seconds, you crash and die.
He's actually an AWESOME pilot if he can kick a box out of a helicopter and still stay flying.

If it wasn't for Brad, we would not have had the best - or worst - Resident Evil line ever. The one by Chris in the live action intro.

No, Barry still owns the two best/worst phrases.
