| STOP.
This topic shall not degrade into a fanboy-ish argument.
(for the record, ps3 wins cause I've 'got' one of those 50-inch flatscreens that makes blu-ray look uber pretty.)

| one more thing look at this now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_qHCm875ZUand its already out in stores im getting one on july the 1st... and now the only think that the ps3 has over the 360 now is the blu-ray player witch is i never play movies on it i have a DVD player for that, also you guys have to know and im right is that 360 has a really good online gaming and community online is way better then the ps3, them are the reasons why i think 360 is better p.s ps3 i do have that system too with a 120 gb too its just that to me 360 is better | |

| 360 is better for larger number of games, but the few games the PS3 has are really good. | |

| lol no way can u say the ps3 comuntie is worse then the ps3 its not that easy to say that
you hang some of the ps3 game fourms and there just as big as 360 all the 360 has on its side is that it came out first has more games and is cheaper
if it was around the same price people would love the ps3 more the only reason it dosent have as many games is its harder to write the codeing for the ps3
while the specs are not that different looking at them its clear the ps3 is more powerful but its harder to program kinda
but in realistic terms put both on the best HDTV u can find and the ps3 will go into a world of its own
while the 360 i far from being a bad its quite good its border line old gen not much of a jump so it was easyer to throw out so it came out first
and wesker keep your ps3 for now it might not have meny games u like use it for a blueray player and as multi media item till better games come out the 360 is slowly leveling out while the ps3 is still riseing in what it can do

| Ok, let's weigh the pros of PS3 versus the pros of Xbox.
PS3 PROS:
- Confirmed higher resolution than Xbox games. - Unique games that are ONLY on PS3. - Absolutely no hidden requirements to play online. - More expensive system, but includes things like automatically wireless controllers that run on INTERNAL RECHARGABLE batteries. - Playstation Store comes with a great selection of downloadable PS1 games, at great low prices. Just in case you'd love to play the first three Resident Evil's, a bunch of Final Fantasies, and other PS1 classics on your next gen system.
XBOX PROS:
- Lower resolution means lower chance for epileptic people to have a seizure. - Games that are mainly created for computers, but if you're really poor and don't have a good computer, you can buy an XBOX to play those games. - Requires Live, which costs money, to play online. This is good for people who are so adamant in defending their system, as they'll pay the outrageous price over PS3 just to prove they like Xbox better. - Cheaper system overall, but comes with a whole slew of nuisances, like wired controllers with optional wireless, but running on AA batteries. It also comes with a free red ring of death down the road. ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! - Xbox Live Arcade comes with a great selection of old arcade games, at the same low price as the PS1 games in the PS Store. Just in case you'd love to play Tron, Centipede, and Pacman on your next gen system.

| 1. Live costs about $4 a month, and lets you download movies, music, games, and of course play online with your friends.
2. Wired Controllers? Most of the one I see are wireless, and have the option of running on either a rechargeable battery pack, or 2 AA. Either way, the controller lasts for a very long time with out having to worry about charging it.
3. Xbox Arcade has a "Games Room", which allows you to play virtually every old arcade game. It also has a section for new, very popular games, like Shadow Complex, Battlefield 1943, and many, many others. It also allows independent developers to make and sell their own games here.
And yes, the Xbox has many successful franchises, and the ability to download and play xbox and 360 games right to your console.

PSO costs about $0 per month, and the PS Store is everything the Live Arcade wants to be in terms of downloads. 2. I've had a wireless controller run out of batteries on me while I was playing at least 15 times. Then you have to peruse drawers for 2 AA's. With PS3, you just plug the controller into the machine when you're not playing it. 3. This is cool. I already pointed this out in my last post though. Who DOESN'T want to play arcade classics on their next gen console?

1. The live arcade is already freaking awesome even more so thanks to some of the truly amazing indie games people have made for it some of which are better than real big company console games. 2. Then the controller you had was buggered and you can get the same thing for a xbox its called a play and charge kit I have 2. 3. Are you being sarcastic because I FUCKING LOVE PLAYING PACMAN AND EARTHWORM JIM ON MY XBOX...so much lovely nostalga.

| Play and Charge? Sounds like Xbox has ripped yet another thing off of Playstation. They already ripped their controller off of the Dualshock, and their Kinetic off the Eyetoy.
I support Microsoft as computer makers, but they're really lame at making consoles.

| I actually agree with Synyster Gates completely. The only thing XBOX beats PS3 with, is that it's online system is more powerful (though you have to pay for it), and generally more people play it. Though, most of those guys are whiney kids, regardless, it's at least someone to face. | |

| BF:BC2
LFD2
Also, internal only batteries is not a plus, sooner or latter the PS3 controller will die, about 2 years they say, and you have to buy a new one, opposed to a new battery pack.

| So.. instead of paying a shitton of money for new batteries constantly.. we have to pay 40 bucks once every two years.. >.>
Also, L4D2 and BF:BC2 = Both for PC. And L4D1 > L4D2
