An Ode To Change

A sinking ship
So far from shore.
This life I've made
I now abhor.

I dumbed the pain,
And hidden the truth.
Hiding in shadows,
And waisting my youth.

So I'm starting now,
There's no better time.
A life starting anew,
At the end of this rhyme.
