A Song of Ice and Fire

Trigger has been giving out praises to this book series for well over 2 years now. The fool I am has ignored him for nearly the entire 2 years.

However, recently I have finally stopped the procrastination and started on this epic series. I'm not even done with the first book and already I'm hooked. The book is very well written, with incredibly detailed characters, one of my favorite qualites about books and other forms of entertainment.

Everyone who hasn't read this book should probably start reading it soon. It's worth the (predicted) 100 hour timesink that the 4 novels out right now will create.

The only negative aspect is the overwhelming likelihood that the author will not survive to produce the remaining three books.

The next one is close, however.



It truly is my favorite series. A definite must for anyone and everyone at least slightly interesting in medieval fantasy. It makes the Lord of the Rings look like a little bitch.

Also, the HBO series will premiere soon.

I'm not interested in Medieval Fantasy, but if I were I'd read it.

Wheel of time has eleven books out.
