Animal 'one lucky' Mother DR loot reports

Ok, misleading title, as Animal Mother hasnt actually found any of the stuff i am going to list here. Sue me.

During the week I decided to give Dr Giggles a stat reset as I was itching to get the gold account into DR, so it was actually the previously morbidly-obese physician who grabbed all of the following, in 7 trips to DR from P13.

note how i soon realised carrying the CT and boxes of ammo was a waste of precious inventory space. I am now considering going out naked minus my armour and battleaxe.

I will continue to save the screencaps of runs, mainly as I have a few RL friends who need persuading that now 3d is out, 2d is quite frankly a waste of time, and a dangerous one at that. I really don't see why anyone would choose to loot longarms/GLAz over DR, but each to their own.

well, bit of an update. i got a GM with Animal Mother as part of my plan for global domination, and found a few nice things on my last 4 runs to dark reds....

server also seems to like handing me MC wood axes. $5k a pop as scrap tho so all good.

2 medium security boxes (1 given away 1 on sale)

in comparison, on the 10 non GM runs i'v done with Animal Mother, the best things i have found are an MC steel, reactive XT800, MC mesa ACR.

also, anyone noticed that the amount lf lootable objects has been significantly increased? parking lots are definitely the new junkyards.

Back in my day we never had this "objects with question marks showing that you can loot it" All we had was our F key and Luck. We would hope for some candy and all we got was NOTHING. Consider your self lucky. Back in 'nam we didn't have shit.

Back in my day, we bought Amputators and got so ridiculously rich off of them that we never had to go looting again.

What? He's a Clan Bank? He gets on the TPK list once every 2 weeks (and a mid-ranking one too) and a higher level then most clan leaders and respected players. I thought he was a old-school player that exploited a glitch to make himself rich and avoided the Admin's purge of that exploit. At least that was what I heard over the forums.

I heard he keeps his clans money in trust. he 'is' a clan bank. otherwise, you'd probably see him merching around

On topic - Nice loots, Mother. The best I've ever looted was a Saiga... I think they're called Segas now, though.

I picked up an m60 in old 2d, that's the best loot i've gotten.

Though lately loot chances have sucked.

Perhaps they are restored now that presents are off the market? we shall see.

i wish i could get an amputator for 2 million. if i keep this up i might have to look into acquiring an extravagantly expensive melee weapon....or i could just be patient and wait for admin to release another one. about the only thing i'm spending money on now is credits

i'm guessing you didnt ever have a GM then Trigger? i think the best thing i found with a standard account is a reactive XT800 or an MC steel.

also, for those of you who arent sick of my luck yet, have you ever seen this much nero in one go?

heh. nice neros. I picked up a 'lot' of them last night as well, but burned most on field healing.

Suggestion: get a second armor. I have two reactives and an xt (xt is loaned out) and that holds me up for a good 5-7 hours for a loot run. Yes, it takes away an inventory slot when looting, but also you stay out longer, which means more xp, more time looting, and more time to find good loot.

I didn't find a grinder/battle axe/xl security box by accident last night. it was my first epicly long loot run in a while. I could have gone longer, but it was like 2AM and I was starting to make mistakes and run out of inventory.

that idea has crossed my mind, and it would of definitely been useful with Dr Giggles and that piece of shit sn-42 he was wearing, but tbh since i got my first exterminator mesh i'm practically untouchable out in the city theres a lot to be said for maximum agility IMO.

i should prob spend more time poking around in DR, but i'm happy if i get an inventory full of 12.7's/nades/nero and a few bits of equip. so long as i get ~750k xp and every item in my inventory is worth $2.5k ish i consider it a good run, anything more than that is a bonus

thought i'd update as i mentioned i would in raven's thread. i think i have got into a nice routine for looting at last, if you compare these shots to the first ones i posted lol. definitely come a ways since then. notable things, a fair bit of exterminator gear, a k-50m, xm-25, BA and katana, and a fair few MC bits in there.

How long do you usually stay out? I have been just running down and having someone kill me after about 3 hours.

i usually safe log out and do it in shifts, so i'd say i spend about 5 hours looting on the average trip but it could be a little more than that.

in terms of ground covered, the absolute minimum i do is get to the bottom right then thoroughly search that and the 7 DR squares on the way back to an OP, but i tend to search every DR square i go through most of the time, which would be about 16 squares i think.

the most epic run i'v had (the $60k cash one) i think i cleared 23 squares of DR in 7-8 hours over 3 sittings. the was with my old build. i expect i could cover that ground a lot faster now i have the AB as i find that is much more ammo-efficient than the VSS ever was

and some more loot snobbery in action.

getting into a good looting rythmn now, not spending hours and hours out in the city, coming back with a nice pile of things. most of these ones are from speeding through orange/red then searching everything in 12-14ish squares of dark reds. maybe 16 actually. IDK.

i have also decided i enjoy the supermarket very much. anyone know where i mean? its like SW of the big park. if you know where that is >_>

also found a battle axe and an exterminator mesh on that run. the previous trip i found another XL box and an M82a2, so the server is still being kind to me despite all the recent loot shenanigans...

Congrats, you've found the mother of all loot finds! You now have nothing else that can top this unless GAU's become lootable, you find time to win TS and Dusk gear, or strive to become a level 200. I really should go loot myself soon, but my alt still needs a few levels to go.
