ENTRY ONE - August 22, 2011

New Game.

My Character : Male; named LAKULON.

My Rival : named LHEDULO.

I stole a level-5 PIPLUP : male; nicknamed PENGORTON. PENGORTON is of a serious nature. He is also a little quick-tempered. Happily eats anything. Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Its thick down guards it from cold.



Spent all my money on paralyze heals, antidotes, potions, and pokeballs.

PENGORTON learned Bubble!

I caught a level-2 BIDOOF in a pokeball : female; nicknamed BIRKALORS. BIRKALORS is of a lonely nature. She is also thoroughly cunning. Likes spicy food. With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears.



PENGORTON learned Water Sport!

LAKULON 1 : LHEDULO 0.

BIRKALORS fainted in a battle, but PENGORTON saved the day.

BIRKALORS learned Defense Curl!

BIRKALORS learned Rollout!

PENGORTON forgot Water Sport and learned Peck!

Challenged Leader Roark : After defeating GEODUDE and ONIX, PENGORTON was easily knocked-out by Roark's CRANIDOS. Switched out with BIRKALORS, who was then savagely beaten within an inch of her life. However, in a stroke of pure luck, BIRKALORS managed to defeat CRANIDOS using Rollout before it could deal its next mortal blow. Received my Coal Badge. Can now use Rock Smash outside of battle.



BIRKALORS forgot Growl and used HM6 to learn Rock Smash!

BIRKALORS evolved from a BIDOOF into a BIBAREL! It makes its nest by damming streams with bark and mud. It is known as an industrious worker.

ENTRY TWO - August 22, 2011

Three Hours and thirty-nine minutes into the adventure.

Spent all my money on escape ropes, repels, ice heals, burn heals, awakenings, super potions, and potions.

PENGORTON evolved from a PIPLUP into a PRINPLUP! It lives alone, away from others. Apparently, every one of them believes it is the most important.



PENGORTON forgot Growl and learned Metal Claw!

I was defeated by Mars. Her PURUGLY handily tromped BIRKALORS, but just barely survived against PENGORTON, who fainted from poisoning.



Revived at Pokemon center, and returned to Mars to have my vengeance. Had it was.

Also why'd you evolve Bidoof? I love that little guy but Bibarel doesn't do it for me so much.

Eevee is the only pokemon to whom I deny evolution.

And I am very sad to learn that I can't get one until after I beat the elite four, which is when I put down the game and move on to black. D:<

ENTRY THREE - August 23, 2011

Spent all my money on super potions.

PENGORTON gave up on learning Bide.

Gave PENGORTON and BIRKALORS pecha berries to hold.

BIRKALORS forgot Tackle and learned Headbutt.

BIRKALORS forgot Rollout and learned Hyper Fang.

BIRKALORS was knocked out by an enemy TURTWIG, but PENGORTON saved the day

Easily defeated Leader Gardenia using BIRKALORS. Received my Forest Badge. Can now use Cut outside of battle.

It is not even funny how uninspiring this game is compared to its predecessors.

But yeah, I caught a female Ponyta and named her Austinia.

Play Soul Silver yo. I started it right before school started and then regretted it because it is as addicting as the best pokemon games have been.


I did play through Platinum once too. It was pretty cool, I liked the landmass a lot. Some of the new poke'mon were pretty awesome...I did lose interest in the game pretty quickly after running through it once though.

Restarted two days ago. Picked Chimchar.

Beat it just a few hours ago. In that time-span I played for almost 25 hours.

Starting Black version now.

Still.. cannot... start until I've switched these rare's over. Fuck my life.... x.x

This topic being updated inspired me to resume my soul silver game I posted about in August (I had mostly just forgotten I had it)

On the Icy Path at the moment. Debating starting a new game though since it's been a while and I don't feel very connected to my current poke'mon team.

Black is the shit. Especially so because I'm playing as a girl.



However, I am deeply bothered by the fact that you literally CANNOT find an Eevee in Black or White. So to get one I would have to trade it from Diamond. And the only way to get it in diamond is to see ALL 210 POKEMON at least once. It is going to take forever to get my goddamn Leafeon.

I never had problems "seeing' all the pokemon in the dimnd/pearl dex. you encounter 90% of
them during the course of the 8 gyms and the elite four. However, I have a proposition for you
trig. Some of the shinies I have on my black version are Eevee. I could probably get you a
shinie leafeon, if I were to have someone help me with the transference.

You guys and your modern day Pokemon games..

As for me I started replaying Pokemon Yellow only to beat it in 17 hours. Still fully in a Pokemon craze I will be receiving from home my copies of Silver, Blue, and Crystal tomorrow and plan on playing at least two of them (seeing as silver and crystal are BASICALLY the same thing).

I may spend the long hours of tonight playing through Pokemon Yellow again and catching all the pokemon I want to trade over to Silver.

I still have my game boy color from grade/middle school but none of my poke'mon games. I played yellow as well though.

I'd honestly rather play through a newer pokemon game and take advantage of the new features than go back and replay yellow though. They were good games at the time but wouldn't hold my interest now.


Also started a new game in Soul Silver. Chose Cyndaquil and AR'd an eevee since they are unobtainable till Kanto. Both level 5 still, have yet to reach Mr. Poke'mon's house.

A love of Pokemon + a lack of money = playing your older Pokemon games

I too am looking forward to replaying Gen 2, though I would rather play the remake SO I CAN FUCKING SEE MY TYPHLOSION FOLLOWING ME OH GOD FUCK YES.

Anyway, Black version : My Oshawott evolved into a Dewott, and so far I've seen 45 different pokemon types, and caught 25 of them.



The first gym leader beat me using a monkey with a whip.



However, I swiftly got my vengeance. I currently have three badges.

Have yet to play B/W. My cyndaquil and eevee both follow me like bosses and it's great though.

My snivy will have your ottertwat's blood.

Update: My cyndiquil is level 9 and has yet to learn a fire move, the eevee is level 8, and I have caught a hoothoot which I named after another murderous owl I know.

Currently Trigger(hoothoot) is kicking major ass at bellsprout tower. dem vine wips hardly effect him. In fact, he seems to enjoy them.
