Recommend some good metal songs/bands to me, please. I'm dying from withdrawal.

I'm not here to judge other people by their music. People who do will be dealt with.
Right now I'm just collecting recommendations.
...
However, I don't really like Hollywood undead or FFDP (Save Stranger than Fiction and Never Enough)
Anyone got any more to recommend?

D= I hardly see how saying 90% of metalcore sucks is saying ill about your taste in music or you yourself. >_>. ---------------------------------------------
Kthan.
Acid Bath (Avoid When the Kite String Pops. Paegen Terrorism Tactics is great though.) Agents of Oblivion Alestorm Baroness Clutch Devin Townsend The Devin Townsend Band Electric Wizard (Try and listen to their S/T album) Faith No More Korpiklaani Manowar Mastodon (Last 2 albums Mastodon) The Melvins Moonsorrow (It's blackened folk but it isn't THAT black) Opeth (I guess? Death growls btw) Rotting Christ - Sleep of the Angels. (JUST that album.) Scissorfight Type O Negative Venom (lolsatanicpunk)
Now, if I had to recommend only like 2 of the bands there...I think you would probably enjoy Faith No More and Clutch most. I'd recommend Angel Dust by FNM and Robot Hive/Exodus or Blast Tyrant by Clutch. Also keep in mind the bands there are from a wide variety of genres and all that bullcrap. So not liking one band doesn't mean you'll hate all the others or anything like that.
(Btw, I'm considered a false by elitists. In order to be an elitist you really have to strongly hate everything popular)

Nah, Elitists like everything that's on the "History of Metal" special, pretty much.
My style is different branches of metal, most of which I don't know/think if you'd enjoy...
Hollywood Undead is fail, and FFDP is as well.
I enjoy Killswitch Engage, but I think you've already heard of 'em...

I think I've sorta got what I'm looking for in my mind.
I'm looking for something where you can still understand what they're saying. That and it needs to be fast-paced.
No extremely guttural vocals, it's alright in moderation though. I just don't want to hear something that sounds like Batman singing about how he's going to kill everyone.

I like Killswitch Engage, it mixes both together, and even then, you can understand what they're saying almost all the time.
*still dun know if you know of 'em or not*
How 'bout some Blood Simple? "Out To Get You" is a good one by 'em...
Dream Theater is a kickass band... But maybe a bit slow for you.
Some of Nightwish is pretty fast-paced, but I dunno if you'd like Symphonic Metal.
Industrial Metal is a bit slowpaced, but The Pot by Tool or Vicarious by Tool might be fast enough...
Within Temptation? "What Have You Done Now" is a pretty good one...

Manowar??
Eh, sounds like you want thrash than. Which I generally hate w/ clean vocals. I guess there is always Slayer though. Only early Slayer though, like Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits only.
If you can stomach cheesiness and epic ballads about their latest D&D campaign, power might suit you. I'm seconding Manowar and Alestorm and I'll also recommend Blind Guardian.
You might like Atheist? Idk. Depends on weather you think those vocals are gutteral or not.
Korpiklaani and Vintersong maybe? They're both folky. Korpiklaani is entirely clean vocals, while Vintersong has some harsh thrown in and is generally heavier.
Also, two albums that have just recently come out and are excellent. Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know (Basically new sabbath with a name change) Tyrant - Too Late to Pray
And Elitists USED to do that Jarki. Now they live in dark caves in Norway and only listen to low-quality atmospheric black metal bands that have only released demos. If the band gets over 500 listeners, they now suck. Anything popular sucks.

As much as I love Maximum the Hormone, Wolf, they ARE a Jmetal band, and speak almost entirely Japanese. I don't think Wesker will understand what they're saying.
But since I'm here, I'm going to go ahead and refer you to Tenacious D Wesker. They do some fast paced songs with clean vocals. I can't believe no one has referred them yet.
Unless of course you hate Jack Black. Then you're a commie.

Dude, yes. Beneath the Remains and Chaos AD are baddass albums. Perfect thrash with some awesome and unique harsh vocals.
