I'm adventurous when it comes to eating food, I'll try anything at least once.

Its hard for me to select just one thing, however a lot of the things I've tried that I really liked
were a special occasion only sort of deal. Oh well, I'll just list a few things I like.

Chicken Cordon Bleux
Breaded Mushrooms
Anything Spicy <3
Chocolate Covered Cherries
Peppermint
Seafood in general
Venison (bro makes the best Deer Jerky around)
Jambalaya & Gumbo
Spaghetti & Meatballs (Traditional Style Mofos!)

So now I'mma share a few sites and recipes with you guys.

Ramen: Probably could have guessed this one. I was eating Ramen long before I even
knew about Japanese culture or how prominent it was. I like it plain, usually with a lot of soup,
which is different form how I used to eat them as a kid. I like to add a bit of soy sauce to it if
I have it. But sometimes I like to get really creative! I found this really awesome site dedicated
to recipes built around Ramen!

Site: http://www.mattfischer.com/ramen/

Suggested Recipe: http://www.mattfischer.com/ramen/index.php?s=Broccoli+Ramen+Casserole

I made this one time for myself and my sister, and a few friends. They all thoroughly enjoyed it.
The only thing that I could have done to make it better, would be to add some Chicken.

Thirty Minute Chilli
Quote :

You'll need:

2 to 3 Cans of Red Kidney or Pinto Beans (depends on how many you're serving)
1/2 Lb of Ground Chuck
1 Onion, chopped
1 Can Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies with juice. (Diced tomatoes only if you want mild heat)
2 to Cups Water
1 Tbs Salt
1 Tbs Pepper
2 Tbs Garlic Powder
3-5 Tbs Chili Powder (depends on how strong you want the flavor)

Scramble hamburger meat in skillet over Medium heat until browned, add diced onion and
cook until the onions are translucent. In a large pot, add the hamburger, diced tomatoes
& chillies, beans and water. Turn heat up to High and add 1 tablespoon each of salt and pepper,
2 tablespoons of garlic powder and 3 to 5 tablespoons of chili powder. Bring to a boil and cook
for 25 minutes, stirring every 10. Remove form heat and let stand for five minutes and serve.

Addition: Serve over corn chips and top with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.

I got one last recipe for you guys, this one being a dessert. When I had access to cable,
there was always one show on the Food Network that I enjoyed above all else. Good Eats,
hosted by Alton Brown. Alton (A.B) has a special sort of charisma about him. the kind of
charisma that just charms the pants off of you without even trying.

Every episode is dedicated to a certain food, whether it be pastries or asparagus and usually
has a funny story woven into the shows fabric that you pick up on in between cooking steps
and recipes. Combine that with interesting factoids and a cast of hilarious characters, you
just can't help but be drawn in. He makes cooking easy and fun to learn. 9/fanboyism)

The recipe is a really easy, really inexpensive dessert A.B calls the "Moo-less Chocolate Pie"
Quote :

You'll need:

1 package of Silken Dessert Tofu
1 package of semi-sweetend Chocolate Chips
1 Tbs of Honey
half cup of Coffee Liqueur (Not liquor, though Vodka kicks ass in this)
2 cups Water
1 Tbs Vanilla Extract
1 Oreo or Graham-cracker Pie Crust
1 Metal bowl

Pour 2 cups water into a pot and place it over Medium heat until water begins to simmer.
Place metal bowl over the mouth of the pot, and add 4 cups of room temperature chocolate
chips into the bowl. Add 1 Tbs of Vanilla Extract to the bowl and stir occasionally until the
chocolate chips have melted into a creamy liquid. Note: It's important to stir constantly or
the chips can potentially burn.

Add one package of Silken Dessert Tofu into a blender, melted chocolate chips, 1 Tbs of
Honey and half a cup of Coffee Liqueur and mix until thoroughly blended. Pour mixture into
Oreo or Crahm-cracker pie crust, cover and store in the refrigerator over night or until the
pie filling has firmed.

Additions: After the pie has firmed, cover top with Vanilla or Strawberry whipped cream.
Melt down remaining chocolate chips until liquid. Remove form heat and stir until mixture
begins to cool, but not before it solidifies. Dip spool or whisk into melted chocolate and
gingerly shake over the top of the pie dor a delicious and decorative look. Melted Caramel
can be used as a substitute for the remaining chocolate chips.

Alternative melting method: If you don't want to melt the chocolate chips over the stove,
you can place your chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, with a tablespoon of butter
or margarine and cook for 30 seconds. the chocolate chips out, stir a few times, and
repeat until the chocolate chips are completely melted.

I try to make a Moo-less Chocolate pie at least once a year, either during Thanksgiving
or during Christmas. It's a really big hit here, and I swear to you, you can't even tell
that its made with Tofu. It's like eating pudding actually, but do remember to keep it
chilled! it starts to get droopy if it's left out of the fridge for too long.
