How many of you have played this game?

It's sort of good, but there are several problems:

-NPC's have different voices. I was talking to a beggar and asked him about any rumors floating around. He went from the pitiful beggar to a very sophisticated voice.

-No cutscenes. I like that they made it so it looks more interactive, but I would not stand there for 10 seconds and let the Emperor die. I'd be happier if I got shot with a spell and got knocked down or something, but standing there while watching an assassin run around the Emperor before stabbing him looks wrong.

-Vampires. NPC vampires can survive outside, but you die within a few seconds if you don't spam heal.

-Stealing isn't fun. I went on one spree and got 3k worth of stuff, at level 2. If people see you, they don't really care that you are stealing from them. It's like:

"Oh, the Hero of Kvatch!" *pickpocket* "I didn't need it anyway" *robs entire shop* "I don't think you are supposed to do that." *Murder*

I also have the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine plugins added to it.

-The Shivering Isles lets me make it rain, but not be night forever. It says I am a God, why not let vampires reign?

-Nights of the Nine is too boring to start, so I can't complain about it.

I just don't find being evil to be worthwhile. What is the point in stealing if you can just join a guild and get free stuff?

Oblivion was pretty cool, just got a little slow over time. I also did not like the combat a whole lot.

I liked it. I was actually able to sustain myself if I chose to be a mage. In most games, magic is weak and useless. You have to get combat to balance it out, but as a mage I could easily destroy anything that came near me with my laser beam spell.

I like oblivion.
I got an expansion where you get to own your own castle complete with castle guards.
I go around killing people with my awesome swordsman build that can end lives in one hit.
Then I run back to my castle and lock the gate.

Fun fun!

I tried some of the mods......wow....

There is a mod that makes you nude under your armor. You can also have companions, have a little girl follow you, be a prostitute....ect. People are very creative, but most of the companion mods are just people creating their character for you to use.

The Elder Scrolls modding community are one of the larger modding communities around...There's alot of weird crap some people make though.

I wish I had a good computer. Their are some awesome mods out there.

Owning your own island, blowing people into pieces, adopting a cat...etc.

A .7z file really sucks.

I just found an awesome mod to beat all previously awesome mods.

It's called Hilarity, and I will explain how that name gives it no meaning:

-I can create a riot. Watching random people beat each other to death for no reason is pretty awesome.

-I have a spell that gives people poison apples. I created the Wicked Stepmother from Snow White, and am now in charge of the assassins guild.

-Revive, and resurrect. Revive makes them stand up as people, resurrect makes them my undead minions.

-Free horse. I drop a horse on someone, killing them.

-I can also spawn goblins, bandits, and an invincible troll. It says the troll can die, but I have yet to see anyone other than me do it. Actually, if I wasn't 'at one with nature', It would probably kill me too.

It is amazing.

I found out how to join unjoinable guilds/clans. A little treaking in the console, and I am experiencing it anew.

I joined a goblin tribe. My tribe is the terror of the east, as we have killed and positioned bodies humorously all over Cheydinhal County.

I am a bandit, and my bow has too many notches to count. I drag corpses back to my fort and let them rot.

I joined the Bravil city watch. It's boring. The character didn't last long, but I did start randomly summoning zombies to entertain myself. Everyone died, because I removed everyone that was essential.

With the city watch character, I became the lord of Bravil. Yay! My city is infested with zombies, but I can walk around the castle without worrying much.

I just got Oblivion, but had to stop playing for a stupid reason.

I got to the part where I had to recruit help from all the cities, meaning taking out each of their Oblivion Gates. Anyway, once I had gotten rid of the Oblivion Gates in all the cites except Bravil and Lleyawin, I went To Bravil's king, he told me to take out the gate by Bravil, I did, then I went back to Bravil.

As I walked through the city, some random evil people decided to go on a rampage in Bravil, and were almost immediately wiped out by the city guard.

But one of the battles was between some random girl on the city watch and an evil guy. I didn't want to get involved and get my bounty up, so I settled for watching the fight. the random girl on the city watch lost, and got killed.

More city watch came and killed the murderer, and I went on my business, saved, and went up to the castle to get help from the king.

I told him I had taken out the Oblivion Gate, and to send his troops now. He told me he recently lost the Captain of his city watch, and said her name, which I can't remember. Then he says he can't send help because the city watch is so shorthanded.

I look outside to where random girl of the city watch died, and sure enough her name is the same as the captain of the city guard. I remove her clothes and dump her in the nearby river out of anger.

I've waited 27 in game days and got help from Lleyawin, and King Bravil still isn't over the girls death. Anger face is made, and the game stops getting played.

You really don't need them. The 'epic battle' that they are talking about isn't epic at all. I pulled out my bow and just shot them down as soon as they came through.

*Plays on easy mode, and has 100 hand-to-hand skill*

I basically run around naked, punching everything to death. All but the hardiest foes die in a single blow. I am God.

GotY Edition. I am sheogorath. I am god.

I started back playing once again.

Having xbox live now I downloaded most of the expansions as well.

I am currently considering trying out vamparism but its a one-time thing. Meaning, if I do it now and decide i would rather do it later. Too bad, once you cure yourself you can never be a vampire ever again.


In that thought I feel i'll get to about level 20 or so then go vampire. Oh and with the vial lair add-on I have a person to feed on who doesn't wake up! Yay.
