price to damage, im fairly certain 7.5 > 12.7 > 5.5 in terms of ammo. at least for rifles. and 12.7 is hella expensive.

I'd go with my list.

12.7mm rifles are for the main part, not worth it. M82 is not all that great, but it's probably better than the SIG 550, if only by a small bit.

yeah, but .50 has giant swings in price sometimes.

.50 is always amazingly easy to loot. Not to mention, it's giant swings in price usually only last 6 hours at most, and 1000 .50 rounds can last you half of that. It's not like we're using K-50Ms here, it's a Raging Bull.
