Text Adventures siteQuest is the name of the engine those games use, and it can be downloaded for free
Quest downloadYou can play the already pre-made games, and download some. Their adult and horror sections are severely lacking, but with the free version you can make your own adventure(to a degree).
Personally, I have yet to run into a problem with the free version. I made a house, and a storyline with multiple endings in 2-3 hours.
Good Version:
You wake up, to find a green haired girl sitting in your room. You look at her, and realize that her clothes are wet and her hands have cuts on them. You go to the bathroom, get a towel and your first aid kit and go back to her and clean her up. She thanks you, gives you a kiss, and tells her story. You let her spend the night, and in the morning a police officer shows up.
He asks you about a strange girl with green hair. You tell him you don't know about her, but the cop insists to search your house. He pushes you out of the way and finds her, and pulls out his gun to shoot her. You can try to take his gun or do nothing, either way the girl stabs him with a kitchen knife.
Bad version:
You tell her to leave. She doesn't leave, so you go in the hallway closet and get out a shovel and threaten her with it. She still refuses to leave. You hit and kill her with it. A cop driving by looking for her hears her scream and finds her dead in your home. You get arrested, and story ends.
Worse version:
You rape her to death.
Horrible version:
You keep her body for later use.
There are dozens of ways to dispose of the bodies, from using the shovel to bury them in the backyard to burning the house down with the stove. I prefer the blender. It's funny.
It's still only text.
