oook. yeah there are nowhere near 900 members in any clan in UD. 42 is the current count for UCUD. The problem is, we'll have about 20 or so new players (or old returning players who need new characters) and we'll need to decided whether or not the month long babysitting job is going to be worth it when DF3D launches.

if the first group is offering us assistance, do they require us to assist them in their clan as well? if so, what services would we provide?

You'd think if these guys were serious about partnering up, they'd at least register an account and talk to us face to face, instead of making us go to their playground.

I don't think that our capability to beat the pants off of other UC branches is in question here. (mainly because noone needs to ask silly questions they already know the answers to.) I might venture that this problem is one of the very few where sheer brute force and badassery may not be the correct solution.

Also, if we were to set up a system to 'help' the other side, would be totally lopsided. UD has no gifting system, and basically the only thing they could provide would be a strong HQ. We on the other hand, might get the short end of the stick and have to deal with a bunch of players all of the sudden asking for stuff. Or they could already have uber powerful characters and we'd become more powerful because of it. I vote we resume communications, and give any UCUD guys who want to join us a sort of trial membership. Or if we don't want to accept players under lvl 25, have a 'UC Daycare' system set up to help power level UCUD members who do not have the requisite level.

"Babysitting" these "colleagues" of ours would not only be counter productive over
time, but goes against our prerequisites to even join Umbrella.

Players have to be level 25 to 30 for a reason, it shows us that the player is some what
dedicated to Dead Frontier, or at the very least, shows self sufficiency. If we power level
these guys, just so they can get in and rub elbows, then we have no assessment of their
overall character.

Further more, it takes money and resources to power-level players. I don't know if you've
noticed or not, but Umbrella isn't exactly rolling in dough. If they want to join, that's all
well and good. They can come see us after they've hit level 25 or 30, depending on which
section they choose.

We'll give them guidance, nothing more.

Has anyone made contact with the UD Umbrella? I'm having trouble navigating the HUD.

Wow. This played out in a completely different way than I or anyone else expected.


Alright, this crazy fucking tale has gone in many different directions since it started,
so I'll be telling most of the story in quotes from their sources, it's the easiest way to
get things across.


As you know, a little while ago, as this page will attest to, we were contacted by some
one claiming to be part of the Urban Dead Umbrella Branch, and they came wanting
an alliance. Shortly thereafter, Wesker-X joined the UD Umbrella Forums to investigate
this matter further.

At the same time, someone on the DF forums began spreading rumors that Wesker-X
had relinquished power of Umbrella over to him, and he was recruiting new Umbrella
members. Kyo and some of the other members found this guy and called him out on
this. He went into private messages and tried to lure them to his side. When that failed,
he went to the UD clan and tried to rally them behind him in order to fight a war on DF
against us. Shortly after Wesker-X took his leave of absence, I was approached in a PM
by Captain Awesome with this information.

God this is going to be really confusing...

There is a member of DF named umbrellacorporation, who has come
from Urban Dead. So far from what I've seen, he has been going around,
talking to people as if he runs Umbrella. Recruiting, threatening, ordering.
Things of that nature. Because of regular player's ignorance, some players
have been falling for it. He claims to have recruited at least 15-17 people
that are "his fans" and apparently is going to start his own clan on DF called
the UABS.

Now I'm not entirely positive as to his activities involving you guys, and the
actual DF Umbrella, but he told me today that Urban Dead Umbrella is going
to war with Dead Frontier Umbrella. I am a former Director of UD Umbrella,
and just rejoined as a Senior Employee recently, and want you to make sure
that UD Umbrella has not only not even heard of this guy, but also has no
intention of warring with DF Umbrella, if such a thing were even possible...

On top of all this, I also uncovered that umbrellacorporation is actually in
an enemy clan in UD, known as the UBCS, which was started by an Umbrella
traitor. (UBCS acronym was stolen just to further try and steal Umbrella's
greatness and influence.)

I know this all probably extremely confusing, as I seem to be the only person
who knows the history of UD Umbrella, and the current situation in DF. And
since you don't know the whole history of UD, this probably just sounds like
a bunch of nonsense and crap, but bear with me.

Basically what I'm trying to get across is that you shouldn't affiliated or believe
a single word umbrellacorporation says about anything. He doesn't even
understand what the hell he's even doing.

If none of this makes sense at all to you, just forward this message to WeskerX,
as he might actually know a bit more about it, as he did recently contact the
UD Umbrella because of talking to this umbrellacorporation . And have Wesker
message me if he has any further questions or anything. ~ Captain Awesome

After this was made clear to me, I intervened on the threads he created and informed
the commonwealth of DF that he wasn't one of us. Kyo took it upon himself to go to
the moderators involved, and the threads were brought down. After this, the noob
began going to other clans on DF for assistance, and rallied a few members of the
FFF and the FLF.

Kyo contacted the leaders of these two clans, and two others in regards to our pest
problem, and a plan was conceived: If the little twerp and his friends wanted war,
they would have it. Tallymon of FLF and Lt. Cobra of FFF declared open warfare on
Umbrella, with 7th Rising and the 420th MG giving us their support. No one but a
select few, were any the wiser to what was really going on.

Several hours of plotting, posturing and deceit finally payed off! umbrellacorporation
was lured into a PVP room, and finally the trap was sprung. Kyo will have to give you
the full details of what happened in the PVP room, but I can at least show you the
glorious outcome.

In my head I though it be fitting if I gave him his last rites and meal. He looks at me innocently unaware of what was going on. I pat his shoulder and tell to him relax, that The FFF, 666 Operatives, and hired GAU users would fly over to save they day. I tell him to meet me at the main gate to discuss the matter. It is there I hug him for a long time, kiss his fore head, and end this conflict...



However, I wasn't alone. No, this beautiful play was also conducted by Demon Eyes Kyo, tallymon, and my two clan members BMock442 and Darkplayer2. Let's give them a round of applause shall we!?

What umbrellacorporation will do next is anyone's guess, but something good
game of his affair. We gained several new allies, and they'll be keeping an eye
out for this pretender.
