U.S Citizen Jailed for Manga (sensetive subject matter. You've been warned)

if you draw lolli, your mindset while you drawed it is OBVIOUSLY linked to having sex with kids. i'd say only 30% of people who look at lolli are actually just looking ai it cause its there. The rest have the same mindset as the artist

Not that most of them don't deserve it. Sexual Predators are painted as worse criminals
that murderers and terrorists combined. The sex offender registry is supposed to be set
up so we can keep track of these people and to protect ourselves, however it also makes
a convenient little list of targets. These people may or may not have committed crimes and
their own safety isn't even considered.

The scariest part about that is that you can be placed on the sex offender registry for damn
near anything these days.

I'm sure a lot of the guys here have had the urge to take a piss while out somewhere, only
to find that there's no bathrooms within walking distance. No problem right? Just go behind
a bush, and no one's the wiser, right? Well if you happen to get caught taking a leak, you
could very well be placed on the registry.

Ok, unlikely right? What if for some reason you like walking about your home nude. If some
one happens to be looking through your window, then you could be placed on the list for
indecent exposure.

Lets remove all of the sexual premises from the guy's situation. Instead. Let's say he's
ordered some books online about Islam, presidential assassinations, and a copy of
Window's Flight Simulator. Now this guy has no prior convictions, of any kind, has no
weapons, or anything like that, but they want to throw him in prison for being a terrorist.

Sure the evidence shows signs of intent, but the guy hasn't committed any crimes, they
simply want to throw him in prison because he has the possibility of becoming a terrorist.

Does that still seem right to you?

You're forgetting that we live in a country where there are two aspects of a crime that need to be present: Act and Intent. A criminial needs to commit the act of the crime, and has to have some kind of motive for doing so.

We need to look at the manga-dude in this manner. He was in possession of materials that depict minors in sexual situations. That's the act, since it is illegal. Being charged with an offense means that they must now prove that he is not simply a collector, but that he possessed the material not to just appreciate it as art, or part of a collection, but to ahh... do other stuff with it.

The possessing of indecent material in itself is not a crime. The intent to 'bow chicka wow wow' with it is.

and 2nd what i would do is put a program on the site to zombie fi every computer that enters the site then use them to hack it

big words. Unless you are behind an enterprise-grade network, you are going to lose. hard. your little linksys home router would have no 'idea' what to do with the level of traffic you'd see.

lol a skilled hacker can make there own super computers by making zombie computers out of all the computers in there area
