While I'm on the subject, here are the groups I think we need.
Executives (Admins) Enforcers (Mods) Employees (Normal members) Associates (Non-UC members)
Notice the three primary ranks all begin with the letter "E."

Everyone knows its God's favorite letter. Argues adamantly against it. Then gives up and realizes that he's the only one 'for' the extra groups.

| I'm not going to force people to do something they don't want. If I wanted to, I suppose I could just say 'From now on all umbrella employees must murder a baby before breakfast every day.' But then I'd have a group of me. and anyone who wants to kill babies with me.
it's far healthier for the future of the group to just do what the majority of the members want.

| I honestly don't have a strong opinion one way or another about groups. I really don't see the necessity in them, but I also see why people would want pretty colors for their names. | |

The universe demands more sacrifices than I have the time to fill as much as I wish I could. Well technically I wouldn't be part of the group as I don't eat breakfast and its not just babies I sacrifice even if there is always a minimum of one with each...batch. *vanishes back into the darkness* i'll be watching...

| I don't care if the groups stay or if they go.. I do note however that I would prefer my name to not be blue or white.. Also are we talking about deleting ALL the groups? Because I feel that my group Havoc is just as important as the mushroom council and A.S.S and runescape...(Meaning none of them contribute to the betterment of UC) If they continue to exist I really don't see the harm in keeping one small group up for a person to have a colored name.. |

| Yeah. If there is a way to hide a group then we could do that....but I don't want to have everyone and their mother with their own "special" color. | |

No, actually. We're talking about deleting one or two groups, and merging three others into one.

| I have an excuse for some of the groups. Trigger has the best RP's, so I made him stand out. Havoc would be orange, an admin, but he isn't trusted with admin duties anymore. Crap brown. Dark blue is other games. Runescape is dark blue, but deserves notice. I made the clan, I deserve a little elitist corner. - HellBlaze wrote:

You can't hide the group and still keep the color, unfortunately. - HellBlaze wrote:

Single color groups are strictly 'honorable mentions' to people who deserve it.

| A good point, pest. People who have been allocated or given their own groups have a good reason behind it, they've earned their status. However, I'm not going to go on this line of thought, its not particularly true in all cases or particularly fair.
Look at Runescape, Non-Df, and "Normal" members. We don't need all three of these groups. Not everyone plays Rs, not everyone plays df, and im sure a lot of people here play neither of the two. Are we going to create a group for W.O.W players, or maybe EQ2 players? What about Maple Story users. Just because we like something in particular means we need a specific group for it. We could just as easily lump Rs and Non-Df members into a single gaming group that not only covers the primary criteria of both groups, but allows us a wider range of choices, and we'd be down 2/3'rds of the groups we needed to compress.
Nornmal members could either say as is or be lumped in with the gamers, and we'd still be slightly better off. I'm not saying deny anyone cool colors, I'm saying we don't need a *This word is Censored by order of the Mushroom Council.* ton of groups just to suit everyone. Have a vote as to what group color is what, I don't really care, but the fact of the matter is, we really don't need so many groups for a group of maybe 20 or 30 individuals.

| The 'Normal' group is basically a warning. You get kicked out of normal, and continue spamming/trolling/harassing you get permanently banned. This hardly happens this way, so it can be removed.
Not all members play DF, so I made the Non-DF group.
If a game thread gets more than 10 pages and has five or more people, it should deserve a group and thread. Thus the RS group was made.
I like the group set up we have now, we don't have too many groups. The forum mod squad has two, non DF games are two, DF games are two, the Mushroom Council and the 'Normal' group. Two honorable mentions are made, and that's all 10 groups. It could be improved upon, but shouldn't be completely removed.

Indeed. v.v Your the first I think to have realized why I chose that color. I readily await the day I can prove myself once again so that I can have the rust and grime polished from my slandered name so that it is brought back to its former glory. Alas, it seems that day shall never arrive. *tear* |

I thought I made that group. I'm not sure who exactly made what. I heavily modified all of the current groups, so I 'made them what they are now' when I say made.

We never made a BYOND/REO group.
Just sayin'. | |

There was a section. And Runescape has a section, does it not? Runescape has a little clan type section. In case they want to rally their makeshift army and siege something they deserve some privacy, henceforth the group.
