Oh, how could I forget STALKER? And the original FarCry was superlative for its time. If only they had not introduced those stupid mutant monkeys into it... fah!

(Twice as hilarious with the mod that adds fists back into the game. I even made one which allowed you to cloak Predator-style at one time...)

I suppose the Time Crisis series and the like does not count.

I would have to say my favorite fps was Bioshock.. It was just all around fun for me. Fallout 3 would get the win but I don't consider it a full blooded FPS because of V.A.T.S.

Can't wait to see how Halo: Reach's FPS is. Beta was awesome but the game is supposed to be much better..

If you liked Bioshock, System Shock will probably be a favourite as well. Unfortunately I don't count System Shock or Fallout as FPS.

Yeah. System Shock 2 is pretty awesome. The Deus Ex series, as well.

I'd still say Half-Life 2 though.

Half Life 2 was exceptional as well. I regret never being it... I need to go do that.

I like Fallout 3 as a FPS for the single reason of Vats.
