DF Credit Shop Changes

Here is the rundown:

Prices muuuch lower across the board, but here are some highlights:

GC'ing stuff is 1/2 price
stat reset is 1/2 price
profession change is 1/4 price
The Rebellion and FTB's have been added to the elite section
The GAU has been removed from the shop.

Subsequently, the marketplace has responded. Violently.

i was thinking the price of credits had suddenly spiked again, now i know why. time to check out the price of godcrafting. i will be upset if it is 1/2 price. i'v godcrafted every damn bit of equipped equip the last month :@

Oh hot damn! My GCing goals just got a whole lot easier, and I expect to have all GCed gear within a few loot trips after I finally get around to raising the money needed to pay Animal for the armor I plan to be able to wear very soon. It will also mean the rise of the next arena/TPK king since GAU's are now going to be very limited to find.

I bought 11 XM8s, 2 M16s, and 2 SA80s 10 minutes ago. Now to wait.

K-50M = 117.26 (with 124 critical)

AK-47 = 121.71 (with no critical)
141 (with 124 critical)

ARs now beat SMGs by far; this means 124 crit builds are now pretty much obsolete and more hybrid-oriented build will be the future."

.....being a critical build using a K-50m, you can probably imagine the rant that this was earlier.....

suffice it to say, i found an XM25 and got an Alpha Bull for $500k and a stat reset to use them, so i've decided i couldnt give a monkeys my K-50 is nowhere to be seen on the top-ten DPS weapons chart any more.

Oh, I love using a hybrid right now! Not only can I use a stronger armor soon, but I can use the AK and look like a true badass soldier. Now if only I could find a red beret, I'd be the spitting image of a Spetsnaz (or at least as close as DF allows due to lack of a blue stripped shirt).

Also, raven's numbers are off. by a lot.

That does not mean that mg's didn't get a bump. I say they got a balance because of the difference between rifle and hg ammo. it's not the power bump that raven claims.

The 'major' difference is when you get out in a horde. my m60 couldn't handle it last week. now, it can.

i'm quite glad i switched now, my grenade launcher is truly joyful to get carried away with and the AB is perfect for looting/blasting through aggro when it isnt time for shock and awe. plus theres a lot more .50 around DR than 9mm rifle ammo

Unless someone becomes in dire need of it, not for a long time Wesker. Seems I'm handing out favors left and right, I just gave someone 20 real life dollars over the interwebs to pay for 2 months of GM.
