The guys always went through hell and fire to get me. I got downed by two or three zombies as Alyssa, Kevin and Mark charge blindly into the group, Kevin kicks the shit out of the zombies while Mark heals me up. Kevin eventually is fatally wounded and dies, whilst Mark and I escape unharmed.

R.I.P. Kevin, he was a hero to us all.

I just watched gameplay of this in a live stream from Gamespot of E3!

It looked real fun, I watched the 4 of them all ganging up on some lickers in an underground parking lot.

As wonderful and gorgeous as this game looks, its still missing the survival horror element.

But it still looks like a great Shooter.

From the looks of things, this is the multiplayer zombie game I've always waited for. So far, the most co-op we've gotten out of RE was the ability to play as a left-handed black chick that totally fucks up your shit, so ORC (lol it spells orc) has got me excited.

I'm a survival horror nut, but when co-op or AI partners are mentioned, most of my hopes for scary tend to immediately die. Hell, RE4 became 20x less scary for me (though it was never very scary) the second I found Ashley, even though she was almost completely useless. And of course, RE5 never even made me jump. Silent Hill can still elicit a tremble to this day, largely due to the fact that I'm alone. RE seems to have forgotten the value of solitude, but with a game that looks this sexy, I'm willing to overlook it until they fuck up RE6. For sure, they could not pull this crap in a numbered title, but since it isn't, I'll ignore the fact that it's a sound departure from the series's roots, and will just try to enjoy it for what it is; a rapid and gory romp through yesterdecade that you can share with your friends.

Regardless, I intend to get drunk, turn off all the lights, and play this while naked, with the fan oscillating next to me. Maybe I'll buy a tarantula and put it in my lap.

Off-topic but WTF is up with the new Silent Hill? I heard Team Silent isn't even making it and Korn is doing the theme song?

Korn are good and i'm a fan and all but them doing the soundtrack to silent hill...I don't think that will go well.

On the topic of RE i'm looking forward to this. They'll be no chance of it being scary but I haven't played a scary game yet. Closest i've come is jumping a few times in the first couple of minutes of Dead Space.

Still need to play Amnesia The Dark Descent properly but with my laptop and funds getting and playing it is impossible. However even though RE won't be scary it ought to be fun to mow down zombies and people alike.
