False. Brad Pitt broke up with Tom Cruise in order to be with George Clooney. However, after the couple had robbed over billions of dollars from three separate casinos they broke off to pursue more individual roles in their acting careers.

Meanwhile, Top Cruise was left to go insane and start believing in overlord aliens in his period of grief.
