Blood the Last vampire

Blood: The Last Vampire is 2009 live-action remake of the 2000 anime horror film Blood: The Last Vampire. Originally slated to be released worldwide in spring 2008, the film premiered in Japan on May 29, 2009 under the title Last Blood, and was released in the United Kingdom on June 26, 2009. Sony Pictures licensed the film for release in North America, where it will be released to theaters by Samuel Goldwyn Films on July 10, 2009. Directed by Chris Nohan and co-produced by Edko and Pathé, the film focuses on a half-human, half-vampire girl named Saya who hunts full-blooded vampires in partnership with humans and seeks to destroy Onigen, the most powerful of vampires.
