bought it about 2 weeks ago, finally got around to beating it today. Pretty solid RE game, better gun system then 4 in my opinion.
You use a first person shooting system and the graphic/gameplay are really great.
Pros -fast pace action -freaky zombies rise up at random times causeing you to get sneak attacked -solid variety of effective guns -two characters to play as -very difficult hard mode setting -lots of cool zombie death
Cons -simple straight forward plot with zero puzzles only keys -boss fights aren't too difficult -beat it once you can shoot through it a 2nd time in less than 2 hours (on easy or normal) -no mixing herbs only green -nothing too scary happens -only about 4 different enemies besides bosses
all in all a solid action resident evil game. A definite must have for us RE fans. 7.75 / 10

I really want to get this. I played Survivor forever ago on ps1, and if this game is anything like it, it will be awesome.

Once again, it seems like listening to the masses might have been a bad idea. *Still regrets buying a Furby back in '97*
I've always heard Dead Aim was horrible, and should be avoided. Guess I'll have to play it now. O:

lol EVERYONE should have "1" furby. I personally have the wizard one.
But EVERY resident evil fan should have Dead Aim, just like every Silent Hill fan should have the origional game.

Played this a longass time ago. Enjoyed it and hated it at the same time.
It's like Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Survivor, and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X all mixed into one slightly retarded yet genetically superior baby.
Except Resident Evil 4 came out way way after.

its one of those "must have" games for Resident evil fans. personally i love the gun system more then RE4 and i would prefer all RE games to be in this style from now on but as you said RE4 came out much later (in fact i belive Outbreak even came out befor this).
basially it the game that made RE4 possible to be all that it was. Prolly the first Resident Evul game to switch the genre from Horror to Action.
