New website

Hello all .... I want to suggest, a new website for this organization...
I want to make a proper website for you gays, with game news, clan news... Forum, guest book, photo gallery, file manager and much more... I personally will luck after this site and always will improve it.

a funky new website would be cool IMO, but this one has been here for a LONG time so i doubt people will want to move to a different one. Trigger will have to move his roost, then theres the pool to think of, not to mention the basement...


it would be a good excuse to clean house tho, we have quite a few dead accounts on here, and its not every day someone offers to put a website together for you.

Double Pain, maybe post some links/screencaps so we have a clearer idea as to what you are offering?

I have a better Idea... ))) I can make a website tonight... and post it ))) allready working one.. but under updates... ))
for example.. ir would be nice to see the updates of the game and clan in DF.
Life dosent stand in 1 place... people have to move on... )) if you stay to long in 1 place.. the root's will start to grow.. )))

or.. like we don't have to move the hole web site right away.... we can move the DF first... it will be more comfterable for the game.. and if you people will like it , then we can move the rest... )) if not, you don't lose nothing ))) and if it work's out, U will have a good advantage

Personally, if the website you create is up to expectations I think it would be awesome if the DF portion of the website was moved to another site. All of the other threads however should stay on this site and perhaps this site could have a color scheme revamp?

I would actually be behind this idea. A website for social nonsense to keep the oldfags who are done with DF happy(this website, ideally), and then a site dedicated to DF business to keep all the people into that happy.

If anyone is creating a new website, it should be created by one of our leaders. I won't even be visiting that forum, but I'm already frightened by the idea of every single word and thread there being misspelled, with parenthesis interspersed seemingly at random throughout every sentence. I don't even know if I should get started on the punctuation - or lack of it - right now. I'm already feeling a seizure coming on from your blatant hatred of whatever language it is you're trying to speak, and I think I need a good rest.

As you can see any problems you have with his grammar are not tied in to his ability to design a website. Personally I think it's great he is offering to do this for us.

Well no one said they had to speak english. We have welcomed foreign language speakers here before. If you can't speak english at a fifth grade level, then just DON'T. We're not going to shun him for speaking some other language or anything. You probably will, but you're only a small percentage of the population here.

I still think if the DF leaders WANT a DF board, they'll post here and support it. Until that time, please speak into the microphone. I don't think it's working.

I think that you might be being a little harsh and defensive of something you have nothing to do with Syn. While I do agree that the administrators that deal with Dead Frontier should be the ones to make the final conclusion upon whether or not the DF portion should be moved; I also feel that your blatant grammatical Nazi induced rage towards this individual who has offered up his free time to make a quite possibly more glamorous website for our DF section a bit in bad taste. Take for instance this thought: A man walks up to you and says I will give you X amount of cash without expecting anything in return; yet, the currency that he has given you is a different currency than that of the US dollar. You'll simply not except it just because it isn't immediately useful? I find that lazy and ignorant.

Now where you speak full truths that his grammar is not up to par with that of a person who's primary language is English, that does not mean in any way his ability to design and compile a website is as bad. Besides, if he DID create this website with spelling mistakes, a UC DF administrator can easily be assigned administrator privileges upon the new website and go about fixing said errors.

At least he is actually doing something for the clan at the moment. I don't see you setting aside your spare time to create a website for our serious DF players and in such sense denote your downing of this man utter garbage. Hush now and go back into your corner..
