Survivor Eight : Albert Wesker (Wesky)

And so it begins...

Albert Wesker was in Umbrella Corporation's Raccoon City lab when the security alarm went off. He knew it would happen eventually, but he didn't expect the virus to reach the city this soon..

Grabbing as many research papers as possible, Wesker hurried out of the door. He heard screaming, but ran right past it. Running toward the exit, he noticed a guard blocking the door, and immediately stopped.

The guard was beaten and bloodied, shuffling speedily towards Wesker, who promptly took out his trusted Silenced 9mm, aimed at the guard's head and fired 3 times. One to snap the chinstrap on his helmet, one to knock it off, and one for the killshot.

The infected guard went down, and Wesker proceeded outdoors in the direction of the nearby UBCS training facility with intent to acquire more weaponry, which he'd inevitably need to escape.

continue towards the UBCS training facility

Highly desirous of something with which I might wreak havoc on those who would would oppose me, I continued directly to the UBCS training facility. Unfortunately, my path was not to be as direct as I had hoped. An eighteen-wheeler had been unceremoniously toppled over across the entire width of a street that I needed to pass. As fate would have it, this particular truck had been transporting oil, which was now casting an impassable wall of fire over my objective.

An inconvenience. My options were to go by the sewers, rooftops, or the long way around.


What will you do...?

Agitated by my poor fortune, I began to head around the block in order to enter the necessary street from the east, rather than the south as planned. By the looks of things, I had a large shopping mall to go around... Or through.

Search for a vehicle

Bored of walking, I instead focused my attention on a black Lexus that happened to be neatly parked on the side of the road, nearby. Trying the handle, I found it to be locked.

After kicking open a massive hole where the door once stood, I sat down in the soft leather seats and began to hotwire. Within seconds, I has succeeded.

Taking my sunglasses out of my pocket, I promptly placed them on my face. I felt that it was appropriate, despite the fact that it was night.

Popping open the glove box, I discovered a candy bar.

"Neat, a sweet." I mumbled under my breath, stuffing the treat into my pocket.

"Vroom!" Said the engine, as I threw the car into drive, and took off like a flash. Swerving to and fro, avoiding cars, and running over anything that walked, (Many of which, screamed rather human-like) I quickly rounded the corner, putting myself back on path.

"No flaming obstacle can best me..."

As I continued onward, the scenery gradually began to change. Businesses, apartments, and other buildings slowly disappeared. In their places were considerably bulkier, more menacing buildings, all of which were plastered with the Umbrella logo. Of course, I had to crash through a chained gate to get to them.

It bothered me that the gate had been chained, yet there was nobody guarding it, nor was there anybody to be seen. I continued driving through the courtyard, apparently alone.

And thus, I ran out of road, right in front of the main entrance. The complex before me was a veritable fortress.

Stepping into the frigid night's air, I slammed the door behind me and began to walk around the courtyard. My aim was to find some sort of violent weapon, however I found no such thing.

The cold was beginning to seep into my bones. Either the temperature had just dropped dramatically, or I'd gotten a little too used to having a heated seat under me.

Go inside.

Walking up to the door, I discovered there to be a monitor on it. The Umbrella logo flashed and rolled across the screen.

"PLEASE SWIPE YOUR UMBRELLA CORPORATION LEVEL FOUR OR HIGHER IDENTIFICATION CARD TO GAIN ACCESS." It said, in the monotone voice of a computer-simulated speech. I assumed a motion-sensor was involved, for I had made no motion to touch the door.

I wasted no time in swiping my card where indicated, but the door made no answer. It neither unlocked, nor informed me of my card's invalidity.

"PLEASE SWIPE YOUR UMBRELLA CORPORATION LEVEL FOUR OR HIGHER IDENTIFICATION CARD TO GAIN ACCESS." It said again.

"Broken. Delightful."

The door did not open. It was most discourteous.
